Select Patrol Agency Inc. was founded in 1984 by Darin Williams in Pasadena, California. For many years the company's focus was on its vehicle patrol. Through word-of-mouth promotion, the company's reputation grew as a reliable provider of patrol services for residential organizations, corporate clients and property management firms in Southern California. Throughout Select Patrol's history, Darin Williams has always had in interest in technology as a means to improve the efficient delivery of services.. For example, in 2011 the company converted to a paperless reporting format. The following year, body-worn cameras were standard issue to all vehicle patrol routes. However, if there is one asset that is the most valued within the organization it is the team members whom have made the Select Patrol what it is.
